As part of its initiative Pathways to Peace, the Conference of European Churches, together with Inclusive Peace, will hold a webinar on the role of faith-based actors in political processes – comparative experiences and implications regarding Ukraine and Russia. The webinar will be held on Monday 24 April, 15:00 – 17:30 (CET). Registration for participation is now open.
The webinar is part of putting forward a platform for dialogue. By drawing insights from comparative experiences, it will offer an opportunity for debate to bring an enhanced awareness and understanding amongst faith-based actors on their possible contribution to dialogue and political processes on the war in Ukraine.
CEC invites Inclusive Peace, a Swiss-based “think and do tank” to share comparative research exploring the modalities, roles, and key factors that enable or constrain the effectiveness of the involvement of faith-based actors in such processes.
To develop ideas for the Pathways to Peace initiative, the webinar will feature group discussions to contextualise the comparative experiences with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
