The Conference of European Churches (CEC), in cooperation with the Swiss Council of Churches, will hold its Annual Meeting of General Secretaries of the National Councils of Churches from 21 to 23 September 2026 in Bern, Switzerland.

The meeting will bring together General Secretaries of the National Councils of Churches from across Europe to reflect on the reception and implementation of the updated Charta Oecumenica. It will offer space to share experiences and consider its theological and practical implications for churches in Europe.

The programme will include theological reflections, discussion of key themes in the updated Charta, engagement with young people, and exchange of experiences.
