The Conference of European Churches, in cooperation with the Swiss Council of Churches, will hold its Annual Meeting of the General Secretaries of the European National Councils of Churches from 21 to 23 September 2026 in Bern.

The meeting will bring together participants from across Europe to reflect on the reception and implementation of the updated Charta Oecumenica, and to exchange experiences on its theological and practical relevance for churches in Europe.

The programme will include theological reflections, discussion of key themes in the updated Charta, engagement with young people, and exchange of experiences.

Participation is by invitation only and intended for the heads of the National Councils of Churches.
