The Conference of European Churches (CEC) together with its ecumenical partners will hold an international political conference focusing on public theology, addressing the theme “Politics as an area for expressing Christian values in everyday life” from 15 to 17 May 2024 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The conference is co-organised by CEC, the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO), the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE), the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki and the School of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh).

The event will bring church leaders, academics, politicians and representatives of the European ecumenical organisations to discuss the theme from varied perspectives.
