On Sunday, 20 April 2025, the entire Christian world will remember and celebrate the unique event in time when God manifested His love for the world. Together, we will recall the humility of the Cross and the glory of the Resurrection. We will proclaim that "Christ is Risen" and know that the once-closed gates of Paradise have been opened and we are invited back into the bosom of God. As the poet says, "heavenly and earthly things rejoice with Adam" and all creation celebrates for the curse of the past has been lifted and our slavery to sin and death has been abolished.

We at the Conference of European Churches, reach out to you, our family and our friends, and invite you to walk with us in the glory and light of the Resurrection. Celebrate and rejoice for a new dawn has come, one which dispels the darkness of sin and evil, for the Sun of Righteousness illumines the world with His message of Truth. Walk with us and join us in the bond that unites us, as we proclaim the great act of our redemption. The blood of the Lamb has set us free.

May the light, joy, glory and blessings from the empty Tomb be with you and all our world.
