“For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders, and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” Isaiah 9:6.

In a world often marked by violence and division, the birth of Christ is a beacon of resilient hope.

Christ’s birth re-establishes and rejuvenates the true relation between God and the humanity.

Christ, our hope, inaugurates the transformative power of peace into the world.

This season, such persistent hope inspires us to be peacemakers in our life and action, fostering understanding and compassion in our hearts.

Let us remember our brothers and sisters around the world, especially those who are reeling from the impact of wars, climate change and economic uncertainty.

Let the birth of Christ illuminate even the darkest corners of our world.

May our actions as churches and communities be guided by compassion and righteousness.

In the quiet moments of prayer and spiritual reflection, may we attain peace, the gift of the Holy Spirit, the sign of God’s presence that brings us into communion with Christ.

Together in joy, may we make peace and become children of God!
