“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those whom he favours.” — Luke 2:14
As we gather across Europe and around the world to celebrate the birth of Christ, we are reminded that the manger in Bethlehem is not only a sign of God’s nearness but also a clear declaration of hope. Into a world marked by fear, division, and uncertainty, God came as a child—vulnerable, humble, and radiant with the promise of peace.
This season reminds us that Christ’s peace is not passive. It is a strong, transformative gift that reaches into every place of conflict and longing. In a time when war and injustice continue to wound our world, we are called again to be people of peace—building trust, seeking truth, and encouraging reconciliation.
May the light of Christ strengthen our common witness and inspire us to bring hope where despair persists, and peace where discord prevails.
Wishing you a blessed Christmas filled with grace, unity, and the enduring peace of Christ.
